Hi Guys,

Glad to see that people are so active here. I have just added few new features to make forum posting easier..

Let's go to every feature one by one..

1. Post Videos - Now you can post videos in the posts. But how? Well, it's pretty simple, just go to video sites likes Youtube.com and copy the URL of the video and post in the forum topic / post, rest will be taken care of automatically. :)

For example, view any video on Youtube.com website and look for the URL of the video in the address bar or on the right hand side of the video: (as shown below)

Copy and paste it here.

That's it, you are done :)

2. Add images in the post: Now you can add images in the posts easily, just need to add to post using simple HTML tag. Read more about it here: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp

3. Now, this one was requested by Bridget Jones on the blog. She wanted me to add some nice looking emoticons and here we go..some cool smilies added.. just go ahead and post the replies with smilies :)

4. I have added one more feature called Related Posts, it will display list of related posts at the end of every post. (Just before the comments)

5. Added support for BBcode, refer to Wikipedia for more information on this.

Apart from these new features, couple of minor HTML related bugs also fixed on the forum.

fantastic Deep, and thanks for this amazing detailed post on how to make everything work!. Hope this works for all... I suppose people can now post videos and images in comments too. Give it a try everyone and post here with what you experienced

Do the emoticons only work over at the main blog?

changes do happen.
