Hi Mac Users (and if you aren't, you will one day).

I've noticed that when i post a new post/article on GSTF's, I have to go into the 'code' view and insert <br><br> to get a break between paragraphs.

Typing a normal break using the return button just gets ignored once you publish.

Any thoughts? Has anyone else noticed 'problems when using Mac to post?

....interesting, I didn't need to do it (enter the <br><br>) on forums so perhaps its a wordpress issue????

It looks like the issue with the editor which comes with Wordpress (TinyMCE) rather than coding issue. I think this might get sorted once we are on the new server with updated version of Wordpress.

We're heading back to Dubai to a Mac but are hesitant to swap from HP as its the tool we've always posted from.

Basically the issue is not with the mac, you can check this by installing Safari browser on Windows too. I think this issue is there in Firefox and Opera too...

Let's see how it works with WP 2.5.1

Hi Deep and the Flowers crew.

I'm still having no joy uploading images from my pc to accompany an article i post.

I'm clicking on the 'add media' - 'picture' icon - i select the file i want to upload... and upload... and get this message: The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/html/gstf/wp-content/uploads/2008/06

Any ideas? I had a great image of Doctor Who but I guess we all know what he looks like anyway.

The issue was with the permissions of that folder. I have changed the permision. Things should be working now.

When your Mighty Mouse stops scrolling.... I've just blogged about this issue - i was completely at a loss and ready to ship the darn thing back to Apple when i searched the internet thingy and found loads of useful tips to get the downward scroll wheel working again - worked fine in every other direction.

Just a matter of taking a soft cloth and rubbing the wheel whilst holding the mouse upside down.

Be warned! Don't loose patience - it took me several goes to get it working again..
