Free Anitvirus Protection

Posted 3 years ago #

I'm a little ticked...my internet service provider said I would be covered under their antivirus I get for free but it doesn't because I have the 64-bit version of Vista. I need a good free antivirus quick. :( Is there anyone that can help me?

We'll let Deep know right away TB!

WE use Firefox now not IE so that kind of reduce the need for anti virus, as we understand it!

try lavasoft for spyware and other nasty's removal. I've also used Panda Activescan for an online scan but the free version didn't used to do spyware hence the need for lavasoft adaware.

they're both free - search google for them and they'll be near the top.

hope that helps.

Jonathan.

I am using Avast and the results quite good. The protection is really good because when there is a site that is suspected to have spyware or harmful virus, Avast will automatically cut off the connection to the site and inform you. You can get Avast for free at download.com
