Okay, most of us know that I've a HUGE Olivia Newton-John fan. This to my delight I found on YouTube. Olivia, at 17 from the movie "funny things happen down under", year 1965, in a song "christmas time down under".

Bee Gees performing Time Is Passing By on Desmond Tester's "Strictly For Moderns". The boys already had their own show called the BG's Half Hour before this appearance, but it was canned by child welfare, the spoilsports. So, this is not actually their first appearance on the telly, just the earliest surviving footage. Lee Henderson of BTQ7 bought the boys down to Sydney to record this performance at the Channel 9 studios.
