Go! Swap your Seeds ;)

Posted on February 14th, 2009 by angelastokes

Hello flowers :)
Any of you who follow my regular blog will know that my partner Matt and I are moving to Ecuador, to settle in a lovely community and grow our own food. I am immeasurably excited about this and have started to collect seeds, read up extensively on organic gardening and permaculture and also recently had the delight of visiting the UK’s biggest seed swapping event of the year – Seedy Sunday, in Hove.

Here is my video blog from the event:

I see growing our own food as an INTEGRAL part of creating sustainable lifestyles. It will be AMAZING to get things going with our garden…what about y’all flowers? Do you grow any of your own food?
All love,

More seeds in the garden hey!

Do you grow your own bean sprouts / wheatgrass….? Takes ages doesn’t it?

I’m all for it! I do grow what I can, and would love to do more. It IS necessary for sustainability – we are moving in that direction for certain. How exciting!
