Go! Check out the Tennis Match of 2009 (so far)!

Posted on February 1st, 2009 by god

Arvind here up very early on a Sunday watching the Australian Tennis Open final between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

This is exhilarating sport at its best and both men are like modern day gladiators.

Much to the chagrin of the British media, Andy Murray the new great British hope (Andy Murray) didn’t even make it the quarter finals despite all the hype and build up before the tournament.

If you are not watching the final live or you missed it, why? What were you up to instead on this Sunday?!

Who are you gunning for?

May the best man win!

    Hi Arvind,

Love both watching these two men play tennis against each other. However, I do not have a TV so will not be watching! Only get to see TV if I am at a friends house.

Let me know who wins! They are both so talented that I have no preference as to who wins.

Emma – you can probably get it online on some channel!

      I don’t have a TV either – I am watching it at my mother’s in Coventry :-)

PS If you have ever been to Coventry, you will know that staying in and watching TV is just about the best thing to do there!

    My life is over….

The Australian open on one station and the dam Cricket on the other…. arghhhhhh……. lol
Watching the Nadel Federer game live….

    Andy Murray, Brittish hope?

He’s a prick. Constantly reminds everyone he is not Brittish but Scottish, blah blah blah.

If he wins another match in the next century its one too many, ungrateful little turd that he is, pity that Thomas Watt Hamilton missed him when he had the chance.

At 5-2 final set, looks like Nadal is going to win it after over 4 hours…

  5. Soooo who won?! ;)

I have a new project in my hands…I hope you’ll follow us again :)

  6. Jim says:

    Heard it was a cracker…

Whose the best in the world now, officially?

    • arvind says:

Nadal is the official world number one – and has been for a few months now.

Federer cried at the award ceremony – he was gutted! He contributed to a great match but seemed to get tired in the final set.
