That was really funny. I don’t agree with most of this bailout stuff, but it seems to really have a life of its own. At least with the auto industry, we heard more about the contingencies and other details that I was glad about. Santa Claus would be like a family run business, so they would lose out.
I already shared about it in my favorite Christmas gift. The Charlie Brown Christmas tree is still my favorite because of what it represents. Everyone, except Linus and Charlie Brown, thought it was a bad tree. Linus gave it a little love and it became a little better and everyone joined in and it became a beautiful, sturdy, tall tree. We all need a little (or a lot) love. I may keep it up year round. I also got a gift certificate from Nordstrom…spent it today!!
I had to add a little materialism to the mix!!
Save Santa of course….what else would coco-cola do to remind us of one of the worlds most powerful brands….
Xmas for me came with time with friends and the family back in London, a spot of golf in the cold and some bose noise reduction headphones that cuts all noise out on the plane…..
HO! GO! HO!

Here’s a thought though…
Perhaps Santa should trademark all images of Santa, copywrite his name and elves and all things to do with Santa…
That way all the companies whom use Santa and his associates would need to pay royalties to him, there by negating the need for the loan, if it was made retrospective for say 10 years, The North Pole would be rocking…

While he is at it could it he also sue for defamation of character, use of his image and name for profit, etc. That should hold him for a while.

That was great! Yes, Santa should be bailed out. It is in the interest of everyone, no question about that!
So….things must have turned out pretty good. I know some peeps who got some ‘stuff’ for Christmas after all.
