GO! Smell the scientology flowers, cruise!

Posted on January 17th, 2008 by Jim

Well seeing as this is the week that was here’s the latest buzz at youtube – Tom Cruise’s impassioned views about Scientology and his mission to convert the masses have been revealed in a video leaked on the internet! Here it is:

The video’s release comes as Andrew Morton published a book about Cruise alleging that the 45-year-old actor ranks second in command in the Church of Scientology. Comments please after watching the clip or are his ideals mission impossible? Do share and no scratching, biting or pulling hair!

  1. This video is all over the American entertainment shows today! I don’t know much about scientology but always thought it was interesting how it was started by a sci-fi writer. Beyond that…I’m not really sure what it’s all about. Tom is very intense about it all tho!

I would like to see the bits they took out, I must say i would like to know what he is on?
      so I can Avoid it…..
I have looked at Scientology a little and find it a weeeeee bit scary myself. But then again i like to think for myself and not a guide book to decide my day…..
      Has Tom gone mad….
Looks like Nicole got out just in time….. Although where is Katie…. hmmmmm

How interesting… “We’re sorry… this video is no longer available.”

Damn Scientologists… they ruin all our fun.

    • Jill says:

OK… so I watched the one that was working and mid-video it shut down on me. So I found ANOTHER one and yeah… what a nutjob!

      WTF is KSW?

And why does he start laughing hysterically when he’s quoting someone that has asked him, “Have you actually met an SP?”

Weird. Good video though, and the Mission Impossible music is hilarious.

So from the sounds of it, Scientologists are the self-appointed saviors of the world.

      How nice.

        Keep Scientogy Working!!!!!!!

        • Jill says:

LOL! But of course! It all seems so obvious now…

          • aussiecynic says:

            it does doesnt it……
Has this really been going nuts in the USA….
It jsut seems like the ramblings of man who has lot the plot completely… or had a very serious head injury… or maybe it had a profound religious experience that has made him overload on caffine….lololol…

          • I’ve always said he was mad…I used to say the same about Mel Gibson. LOL When I was younger all my friends were in love with the 2 of them…I always thought they were a bit intense…it’s in the eyes!!!

And yes…the entertainment shows in the US & Canada are flashing the video all over the place…along with snippets from that Matt Lauer interview where he goes off on psychiatry…and then they flip to the couch jumping episode from Oprah. LOL All very strange indeed.

Weird in a disturbing way, right Jill!

  4. We should also consider the fact that Andrew Moreton is a hideous man. He leaches off the rich and famous and writes books that purport to be biographies but are very scant on fact and very high on opinion and rumour. He never lets facts get in the way of a good story.

I’m not normally bothered by journalists and writers but I wouldn’t give him the steam off my pee.

    All religions – mad

  6. The basic idea of Scientology sounds good to me, learning to control your mind in order to create a happy, healthy mind and body. However, when they start getting into these strange ideas about medication and childbirth it sounds extremely cult like.

  7. Tom does seem kind of freaky… breaking out in laughter like that.

So I know someone who joined the Scientology church only so he could learn more about it. What he told me is that basically, they provide courses which are likened to personal development. Each one does have a price and the higher you get, the more it costs. He lasted three months as every week he would have to go in and do some study and then sit a test. They don’t like anyone leaving and called his house for ages trying to get him back and he never did. It was an experiment for him and he didn’t enter thinking that he would stay. It was the only way he could learn about it.
