Unless you have courage, a courage that keeps you going, always going, no matter what happens, there is no certainty of success. It is really an endurance race. ~ HENRY FORD, Theosophist Magazine, Feb. 1930

What is courage to you?
As Paul Tillich once put it (in ‘The Courage to Be’),
“The courage to be is the courage to accept oneself as accepted in spite of being unacceptable.”
Do you accept yourself? That’s al the courage you’ll ever need.

I remember hearing about (an urban myth most prob) cambridge uni exam paper which was, in philosophy and asked candidates to:
Define courage (in 3 hours)
One candidate wrote ‘ this is’ and left the exam hall!!
They got into Cambridge…
I am pretty sure its an urban myth but a good and harmless one really
after all if it was a single question TECHNICALLY anyone who could repeat the dictionary definition of the word ‘courage’ would have to be admitted wouldn’t they?
To me, Courage was a brewer of fine ales origniating in London. I have drunk plenty of their product, especially ‘Directors Bitter’
I guess they should have relocated to The Netherlands and then they’d have been Dutch Courage. However instead they were purchased/took over by another company.
