I know Christmas is over but I couldn’t resist sharing this animated short movie that is both creepy and brilliant.
It reminds me a bit of Tim Burton. Where is Johnny Depp?
http://www.vimeo.com/8313485It also reminds me of when I was very young, for some reason we had a black doll in the garden shed that must have been my older sister’s. I was terrified of it (even more than the giant spiders in there). Don’t get me wrong, I am not a racist, but I guess growing up in pastoral England at that time I wasn’t exposed to many black people in my childhood. So this doll was strange indeed to me.
Mind you at that age I was also scared of aeroplanes and would lay flat on the ground and scream whenever one went overhead. Which was unfortunate as we lived in the flightpath of RAF Brize Norton!
Anyone else have any strange phobias to share?
(Oh, by the wayI outgrew both the doll and the plane ones – not the spider one though!)

Lol, Angela, I had exactly the same thing with planes when I was younger, my mum even wrote a letter to the Ministry of Defence because I fell off my bike once when one flew over! Although I think that had more to do with my inability to ride a bike.
I’m not the greatest in lifts, all that space beneath you *shudders*
Wow really? Now I don’t feel so bad.
It was a bit unfortunate living so close to and RAF base though.
Funny thing was when I first came to Canada I couldn’t sleep becuase there were no planes going over at night!
