CC here from sunny Southern California. I know most of the country and others are not like that…sorry. During this week, an article was printed by the Associated Press about an 11 year-old Boy Scout who found a purse with $1,900 in it. He told his mother and called police who then contacted the owner to collect.
Apparently, the owner’s car had been broken into and her purse was taken. They took the $30.00 in her wallet, but didn’t see the $1,900 and dumped near a creek.
The owner rewarded the boy with $100.00 which he gave $40.00 to his mother and kept $60.00 to purchase a Carolina Panthers Jersey.
Share how honest you are? Would you have done the “right” thing? What would you have done?

I am often too honest – particularly in telling people what i think.
But I would have to turn in money if I found it as I would drive myslef carzy with all the scenarios about the poor person who lost it and what it might mean to him or her.
I’m just a worry wart!
There would be no question that I would call the police; however, my worry would be that I would lose it or it would be stolen before it were in safe hands. Because if it were stolen or lost, I’d worry about what you would worry about!! LOL.
Mmmm, I’d like to think that I would be honest in that situation, I think I would actually, I’m believing more and more in karma and that would stop me from not handing it in.
I probably wouldn’t have bought the Carolina jersey though….
LOL…I understand about the Carolina jersey. I wouldn’t have used the money for that.
