Are we so dependent on the censors? Whatever happened to the parental guidance (at home) in the PG genre?
Or is it just me? Even Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince rocked a few boats when the PG rating was given:

Makes me wonder though how youtube et al will grade and control their clips as most parents arent around to watch everything their kids watch on their PC’s in their rooms!

I’ve never really watched a film because of its ratings except perhaps when I was younger and wanted to look hard.
If anything an 18 rating will put me off now as I I’m a wuss when it comes to gratuitous violence and horror films.
Parental guidance is a thing of the past now isn’t it?
There is a famous seaside town called Blackpool thats noted for fresh air and fun.
